A recently added feature allows the admin to easily find and track registrants and teams by filtering by season, grade, location, league, yeshiva, and date, saving them hours of updating Excel documentation.

MK Leagues had been organizing boys' sports leagues for years, spanning a range of leagues located in Flatbush and Lakewood.
The boys loved it! They could enjoy a healthy, fun outlet that helped them learn new skills and make friends.
But while the organizers were delighted to create this opportunity, there was one problem. From applications, registrations, payments, and scheduling, their manual process (read: Excel sheets, check payments, and paper registration forms) was eating up hours upon hours of manual labor, nighttime scheduling, and bank visits to cash in checks.

Forwardslash hunkered down to create an engaging, playful, and optimized website, following MK League's existing branding. They crafted custom-designed pages with various functions for an ideal user experience, equipped with a robust backend that would ultimately increase registrations and leads.
Interactive, Customizable
Forwardslash knew that when it comes to leagues, location, schedule, and teams are ever-changing. The only way to keep the website updated would be to customize every team page and make it editable, giving users access to the current schedule on the front end, while the admin could easily track information on the backend.
Getting the Automation Ball Rolling
To achieve both, they developed a powerful backend management system to seamlessly update teams, locations, and schedules, as well as manage registrations, payments, and applications.
Previously, parents had to send their child’s application via snail mail or in person, including cash or check payments. Now, their quick, professional registration and payment system is automatically updated in the backend.
Now kids and parents can check out their team’s standings, as well as the details of their schedules, locations, and pricing information. The admin also has the option to activate a ‘carpooling’ feature for parents to access their child’s team members, phone numbers, and addresses.

Goal
The new customized WordPress site was a total game changer. MK Leagues was blown by the rapid results their new website and management system provided. Registrations began coming in effortlessly, payments were automatic, and schedules that previously took hours of sleepless nights to organize were now updated in a couple of clicks.
MK Leagues was now on the map as a legitimate business with a serious, hassle-free system, while Forwardslash provides ongoing maintenance and support.
